Air Jordan 1 "Shattered Backboard Away" Releasing Tomorrow

This weekend, Jordan Brand will be releasing another retro inspired by Michael Jordan’s ‘For The Love of the Game’ clause that allowed him to play basketball wherever and whenever he wanted to. In the off-season after his rookie season, Nike took MJ overseas to Italy to showcase one of the NBA’s youngest and brightest stars, and Jordan didn’t disappoint, famously soaring through the air for a high-flying dunk only to shatter the backboard. After a well-received Air Jordan 1 “Shattered Backboard” released last year, the Jumpman altered the colorway a little for the Air Jordan 1 “Reverse Shattered Backboard” slated to release this Saturday, October 8th. The shoe is far from a general release, but isn't super limited. Launch locator tools for chain stores Foot Locker and Footaction reveal a decent amount of doors carrying the shoes across the U.S. It will be releasing alongside a similarly colored Air Jordan 31.

ADIDAS YEEZY BOOST 750 RELEASE EXPECTED OCT 15TH

Adidas has updated the Yeezy section of its website, corroborating talk of a new Yeezy Boost sneaker to come next week. In addition, leaker account @HeisenbergHeat dug a little deeper and came across the illustrations here hidden on the back-end of the site. The images show a colorway matching with the "Chocolate" Yeezy 750 Boost said to be releasing on Oct. 15.
Note that the update on Adidas' site makes no explicit mention of the "Chocolate" 750s, nor does it confirm that a new Yeezy is around the corner. It does have the below image showing 15 different color swatches that could be an indication of future Yeezys to release.

SELF LACING NIKE MAGS GO UP FOR AUCTION TOMMOROW

On Monday morning, @Nike tweeted out the below message to Michael J. Fox, who of course made the shoes famous on the silver screen in Back to the Future Part II.

The fully functional power-lacing Nike Mag seen in Back To The Future II will officially release tomorrow, October 4th. The shoes will be released tomorrow with all proceeds going to the Michael J. Fox Foundation.  The average selling price for the Mags in 2011 were around $4,500, but given that these are the real deal, we expect the average prices to be at least double. It is not confirmed if the shoes will release via an open-ended auction like the last release.
Currently, the power-lacing Nike Mag is being previewed on the Nike SNKRS app, showcasing the iconic design of the feature as well as the signature LED lights and power-lacing capabilities. Once again, the Nike Mag release is tomorrow, October 4th, so stay tuned for further info.

UPDATE 10/3: Fox has responded on Twitter.

AIR JORDAN 12 “WOOL” RELEASING TOMORROW

The Air Jordan 12 has already had a major year throughout 2016 thanks to the likes of the French Blue, Flu Game, and special edition ‘Wings’ renditions all releasing. So what’s next for Michael Jordan’s twelfth signature silhouette? How about some bolstered Wool tooling to help hold you down for the colder months ahead? Tomorrow, Jordan Brand will be releasing the Air Jordan 12 Wool, a new experimental take on the famed retro that adds a premium wool finish in the form of a monochromatic Dark Grey and Black for a low-key albeit luxurious take on the classic model. While the Jordan 12 Wool isn’t technically weather resistant, the new wool upper will help usher in the colder months ahead through the new material edition and simple aesthetic. The Wool 12s will be releasing tomorrow Oct 1st at select retailers for $200 USD. Get a better look at the sneaker below.

Adidas Yeezy 750 Boost "Light Brown" Releasing Next Month

Yeezy Season is approaching again, with a new colorway of the adidas Yeezy 750 Boost reportedly next on the schedule. While this pair may look similar to the "Glow in the Dark" drop from June, the colorway is actually "Light Brown," with the same gum sole. According to the Yeezy Mafia, the release date is set for Saturday, Oct. 15 at adidas.com, adidas Originals flagship stores, Consortium retail partners and the Confirmed app. They also report that footsites, like Foot Locker, Eastbay, Champs and Footaction, will NOT be included on this round. Stay tuned and follow us on instagram @GETLACEDCO for further news and updates on this release.

AIR JORDAN 1 “REVERSE SHATTERED BACKBOARD” RELEASES THIS WEEKEND

Is the Air Jordan 1 “Reverse Shattered Backboard” releasing at select European retailers this Saturday, October 1st? That seems to be the case as a few reputable shops have claimed that they not only have the Air Jordan 1 Reverse Shattered Backboard in-stock but will be releasing the pair this Saturday, an entire week ahead of schedule. While this may be an error in processing, we’ll have to wait and see if shops like Titolo suddenly postpone the drop to align with the official U.S. release on October 8th.The Air Jordan 1 Shattered Backboard released an entire year ago featuring a pre-aged Sail base and accents of Starfish orange and Black to pay homage to the exhibition uniform Michael Jordan wore during an off-seasn Italy game where he shattered a backboard on one of his high-flying dunks. The color blocking was reminiscent of the Air Jordan 1 “Black Toe” and was lauded for the premium details and unique insole graphic. Now Jordan Brand is returning to that theme with the Air Jordan 1 Reverse Shattered Backboard featuring color distribution that more readily represents the iconic “Chicago” theme. What do you think of the look? Check out more detailed shots below and stay tuned for a stateside release on October 8th for $190 USD. THE FIRST EVER NMD RUNNERS ARE RELEASING AGAIN

In December of 2015, the sneaker game changed
completely. adidas unveiled the new NMD line of
footwear, which later developed into one of the
brand’s strongest legs to stand on. Now, it’s a
foundationary piece for potentially a whole new
category, much like what the Roshe was to Nike
when it was introduced back in 2012. The first-ever
release of the adidas NMD is seen here, with the
standout red and blue “bumpers” atop a white Boost
sole and featuring a solid black Primeknit upper. It’s
hard to call this shoe an icon of sneaker history, but
it’s most certainly one of the most important
sneakers of the last few years as it represents
perhaps the strongest weapon in adidas’ arsenal.
Today, the OG NMD runs up to $1,000, but here’s
good news for those still in the hunt: The shoes are
releasing again this December.
Right now, a release date for Thursday, December
15th has been confirmed by a retailer. That is nearly
one year after the original release of this adidas NMD.
Get a better look at the sneaker below and stay tuned
for further news and updates on this release.
